Lenin Herrera is the Founder and President of HDM Tax Group, a premier accounting and tax advisory firm headquartered in Hackensack, New Jersey. With over 23 years of experience in tax planning, accounting, and business consulting, Lenin has established himself as an industry leader known for developing strategies that ensure compliance and deliver measurable financial outcomes.

Since founding HDM Tax Group in 2006, Lenin has guided clients to collectively save tens of millions of dollars through sophisticated tax planning, optimized entity structuring, and proactive financial strategies. His exceptional skill in uncovering overlooked opportunities and structuring tax-efficient frameworks positions him as a trusted advisor to business owners, real estate investors, high-net-worth individuals, and hedge fund managers alike.

Lenin’s expertise encompasses corporate restructuring, multi-entity tax planning, advanced real estate tax strategies, and effective risk management. His approach is not theoretical—it delivers quantifiable results. Many of his clients regularly achieve six- and seven-figure savings directly attributable to his personalized and strategic methods.

In addition to leading HDM Tax Group, Lenin has served as Chief Financial Officer for a prominent hedge fund managing assets exceeding $400 million. Over the past five years in this capacity, Lenin has been responsible for overseeing fund accounting, tax compliance, investor reporting, and strategic financial management, bringing meticulous precision and insightful leadership to a highly regulated, performance-driven industry.

Lenin also serves as President of The Herrera Group in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, leading a dedicated team that delivers advanced tax and accounting solutions. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Berkeley College.

Beatriz Delgado
Co-Founder/Partner

Beatriz Delgado is a founding member and Managing Partner of HDM Tax Group, bringing nearly two decades of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and tax strategy. Since 2006, Beatriz has played a key role in building the firm’s reputation for delivering trusted financial guidance and personalized solutions to individuals and businesses.

A graduate of Universidad Central de Quito, Beatriz combines her academic background with extensive hands-on experience to help clients navigate complex tax regulations, streamline their bookkeeping, and plan for long-term financial success. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping HDM Tax Group into a full-service accounting firm known for reliability, integrity, and results.

As Managing Partner, Beatriz oversees client relationships and ensures the firm maintains its commitment to accuracy, compliance, and proactive financial strategies. She is passionate about supporting business owners, especially in the real estate and small business sectors, by providing the tools and insight they need to grow with confidence.

Jennifer Miranda
Partner

Jennifer Miranda is a dedicated Partner at HDM Tax Group, bringing over 18 years of professional experience in accounting and tax services. Jennifer joined HDM Tax Group in 2007 as a Senior Associate, where she consistently delivered exceptional client service and strategic financial solutions, resulting in her promotion to Partner in 2018.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government & Legal Studies from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Her academic background provides a solid foundation for understanding the intricate regulatory and legal frameworks within which businesses operate.

Known for her attention to detail and client-focused approach, Jennifer specializes in guiding businesses and individuals through complex tax matters, strategic financial planning, and compliance. Priyam Khatri
Senior Accountant & Tax Department Lead

Priyam Khatri, CPA, brings over 6 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation to HDM Tax Group, where she has quickly become a foundational member of our team. Since joining during our inaugural year, Priyam has consistently delivered exceptional results—earning her a promotion to lead our Business Tax Preparation Department.

Priyam specializes in multi-state business tax returns, financial reporting, and compliance strategy. Her command of GAAP, GAAS, QuickBooks, and Ultra Tax Software allows her to provide clients with reliable, forward-thinking solutions that go beyond compliance to support long-term financial health.

Known for her leadership and technical precision, Priyam plays a key role in overseeing tax planning and preparation for our business clients. She’s also deeply involved in financial projections, audit support, and strategic consulting—bringing clarity and confidence to every client interaction.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Manny skillfully bridges communication gaps, building trust and strong relationships with a diverse range of clients.

In his critical role at HDM Tax Group, Manny expertly manages comprehensive bookkeeping functions, including financial statement preparation, payroll management, account reconciliations, and maintaining precise financial records. His meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy consistently deliver clarity and confidence to clients, empowering them to make informed financial decisions.

Bimal Rana

Bimal Rana serves as a Senior Staff Tax Accountant at HDM Tax Group, bringing over two decades of accounting expertise to the team. Since joining the firm in January 2025, Bimal has played a key role in delivering accurate and compliant tax services for individuals and businesses across various industries.

Throughout his career, Bimal has held senior-level positions in both corporate and consulting environments, including roles at Easterseals New Jersey, Televisa Univision, and Total Safety Consulting. He has extensive experience with tax preparation, general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end close processes. His hands-on knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics enhances his ability to manage complex tax and financial reporting tasks efficiently.

Bimal earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. His strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to excellence make him a vital part of HDM’s mission to provide reliable and strategic tax solutions.

Diana Bartolata
Virtual Administrative Assistant

Diana Bartolata is a seasoned administrative professional with more than 10 years of experience in virtual assistance, customer service, and publishing coordination. For the past four years, since joining HDM Tax Group in March 2021, she has been an integral part of the team, supporting executive leadership with calendar management, client communications, payroll processing, and reporting.

Known for her people-first approach and strong organizational skills, Diana ensures that daily operations run smoothly while maintaining excellent client relationships. Her expertise in CRM systems and administrative management allows her to consistently deliver efficient, high-quality results.

Diana’s diverse professional background spans finance, publishing, and BPO industries. She also holds academic credentials in both Nursing and Business Administration, giving her a unique blend of empathy, precision, and business insight.

Ana Rodriguez serves as the Office Administrator and a key member of the Business Compliance Team at HDM Tax Group. With over 15 years of experience in administrative management and client services, Ana keeps daily operations running smoothly while helping ensure our clients meet critical compliance requirements, including annual report filings.

Ana is fluent in English and Spanish and holds certifications in tax preparation, bookkeeping, immigration form preparation, and is a NJ Notary Public and Certified Acceptance Agent. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and warm professionalism make her an essential part of the client experience at HDM.

Pamela Restrepo
Accounting Manager | CFO Services

Pamela Restrepo is a results-driven Accounting Manager at HDM Tax Group, leading the firm’s CFO Services division with a focus on strategic financial management and operational efficiency. With more than four years of experience overseeing multi-entity accounting operations, Pamela brings a proven track record of improving financial systems, streamlining reporting processes, and driving profitability across diverse industries including real estate, hospitality, international trade, and construction.

Before joining HDM Tax Group, Pamela served as Controller and Assistant to the CFO for Diamond Group Corp., where she managed complex accounting functions spanning five subsidiaries. Her expertise in financial analysis, cash flow optimization, and ERP implementation (Acumatica) has been instrumental in helping business owners make data-driven decisions that support long-term growth.

Pamela earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Leadership from Rutgers University and is fluent in Spanish. She is passionate about helping clients gain clarity and control over their finances through insightful financial guidance and scalable accounting solutions.
